UEN in conjunction with Qwest provides the backbone of telecommunications infrastructure to Charter Schools in Utah. The value of these services is significant and the support resources are outstanding. Charter Schools not currently participating in UEN telecommunications resources pay a significant premium for Voice and Data services within their school. Furthermore the quality of service (QOS) levels provided by UEN are excellent and normally exceed those provided commercially.

Charter Consulting Group co-ordinates the design, delivery, and management of these resources and serves as a point of contact for UEN in matters touching technology. We represent schools at all forums and meetings to ensure compliance and advocate for additional resources as they become available. We assist schools in monitoring network activities to ensure they do not jeopardize their relationship with EUN which could result in the termination of services.

As a courtesy to new Charter Schools, due to the criticality of the process, we provide this service free of charge for the first year of operations. We will assist in design and capacity planning for your network infrastructure in order to optimize operability with UEN resources and compliance to best practices. We will also provide guidance on right sizing network devices to optimize your communications infrastructure, including Voice (VOIP), Email, Instant Messaging, Video Conferencing, and live meeting services as well as teacher, student and parent communications and education technologies in the classrooms.

We have extensive experience working with the UEN staff, Network Operation Center, and Technology forums. We were recently invited to serve as Charter School Advocates and as such are in a unique position to assist you in obtaining eligible services or migrating services possible if already obtained.

The annual cost for providing these services is normally $500, and is included in our management fee for schools under annual contract. For the next 30 days we are offering a one year complimentary service to any Utah Charter School that registers on our website at www.ccgutah.com .
